Tripartite Agreement: SumDU, SYNERGOATOM and SUPERMETAL on Khmelnytskyi NPP Units 3 & 4 Equipment

On March 21, 2024, a Tripartite Cooperation Agreement was signed for joint participation in tenders for the supply of equipment for Khmelnytskyi NPP Units 3 and 4 (AP1000 technology).

Purpose

Joint preparation and participation in open and competitive tenders for the supply of equipment for Khmelnytskyi NPP Units 3 and 4, which are being built using Westinghouse AP1000 technology.

Strategic Context

SumDU Contribution

Sumy State University, through its affiliated scientific-production complex, brings decades of experience in pump manufacturing and nuclear-grade equipment production, having historically supplied equipment for Soviet and Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

This agreement demonstrates the practical implementation of CESTA-SYNERGOATOM's mission to connect Czech industrial capabilities with Ukrainian nuclear energy development.
