Memorandum on Smart Village TIQUA Signed Between KUNBA, CESTA-SYNERGOATOM, Odesa Region and Ukrainian Women Farmers Council

A strategic Memorandum of Understanding was signed in June 2025 to formally launch the Smart Village TIQUA project — a modular socio-industrial ecosystem designed to support Ukraine's sustainable recovery.

About TIQUA Smart Village

TIQUA is a modular housing cluster (100-150 homes) with integrated agro-industrial and municipal energy infrastructure, inspired by the Israeli Kibbutz model. The name echoes "Tikva" (Hope) and "Mriya" (Dream) — symbolizing Ukraine's renewal and peaceful future.

  • CESTA-SYNERGOATOM: Energy infrastructure supervision and industrial park integration

TIQUA Ecosystem Components

  • Smart Agricultural Complex (~100 ha): Winter onion cluster, essential oils, food technologies
  • Smart Energy Zone: Solar, biomass, waste-to-energy, decentralized hybrid energy including SMR technologies
  • Medical Cluster: Regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, rehabilitation center
  • Municipal Industry: Waste-to-energy complex, water treatment, greenhouse energy
  • Digital Infrastructure: AI-Big Data Platform, blockchain-based STO investment ecosystem
  • Education Hub: Bilingual programs, STEAM focus, vocational training

Project Partners

JSC WITKOWITZ Atomica, N-BIOTEK Group (Korea), International Regenerative Medicine Association, Ukrainian Venture Capital Association, Cities of Future Foundation, Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, and others.

The Memorandum establishes a Joint Working Group for synchronized planning and marks a major milestone in Czech-Korean-Ukrainian cooperation for post-war reconstruction.
