TRIUMPH Alliance Expands International Cooperation in Marine SMRs, Hydrogen Energy and the Blue Economy

The international industrial TRIUMPH ALLIANCE continues to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and will participate in the 2026 Marine SMR Seminar, which will take place on 30 June 2026 in Busan, Republic of Korea.

The event is organized by the Busan Metropolitan Government in cooperation with the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) and will bring together representatives of governmental institutions, the scientific community, the shipbuilding industry, energy companies and international experts to discuss the future development of Marine Small Modular Reactors (Marine SMRs), hydrogen energy and new industrial supply chains.

Synergy with the H2Energy Program

The development of WINAQUACORE is closely interconnected with the H2Energy program, within which the Alliance is already actively cooperating with Ukrainian scientific and industrial partners, including:

• The Sumy Machine-Building Cluster of Energy Equipment
• Sumy State University (SumDU)

This cooperation is focused on the development of hydrogen technologies, energy engineering, research programs, specialist training and the creation of international demonstration projects connecting European and Asian competencies.

Building a New International Energy Space

Participation in the Busan seminar represents a logical continuation of TRIUMPH ALLIANCE's systematic efforts to strengthen international cooperation between the Republic of Korea, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

Recently, a Framework Agreement was signed between TRIUMPH INVEST a.s. and kHany Corporation Co., Ltd. for the joint development of the MRIA HUB international platform, which will serve as a long-term instrument for coordinating industrial, energy, investment, scientific and technological projects between Europe and Asia.

At the same time, international industrial cooperation in the field of SMR technologies continues to expand with the participation of Witkowitz Atomica a.s., a member of the WITKOWITZ Group and owner of the DAVID SMR technology, ELQ S.A., the Polish partner of the WITKOWITZ Group, and the Ukrainian engineering group UTEM.

Looking Ahead

Particular significance in this context is attached to the WINAQUACORE program, developed by TRIUMPH ALLIANCE as an international platform for maritime energy, hydrogen technologies, aquaculture and sustainable coastal infrastructure.

The rapid development of the Korean Marine SMR sector effectively confirms the timeliness and relevance of this initiative, opening new opportunities for international projects at the intersection of maritime energy, hydrogen economy, shipbuilding and intelligent management systems.

In the long term, WINAQUACORE may become one of the key platforms for the transcontinental integration of Marine SMR technologies, bringing together the scientific, industrial, educational and investment potential of the Republic of Korea, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and other partner countries of TRIUMPH ALLIANCE.

The Alliance considers the development of Marine SMRs, Hydrogen, Blue Economy, Artificial Intelligence and Maritime Infrastructure as a unified strategic domain capable of shaping a new architecture of transcontinental cooperation between Europe and Asia, based on the principles of energy resilience, technological independence and long-term next-generation partnership.
