SYNERGOATOM SE and Sumy State University Submit Joint Grant Application for Trade Aid-Ukraine Program

SYNERGOATOM SE and Sumy State University submitted a joint grant application to the Trade Aid-Ukraine program of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.

The project aims to develop complete documentation sets for critical pumping equipment for WWER-440 reactor nuclear power plants, including models VCEN-315, CN 50-135, PE 850-65, KsV 200-220 and spare parts for the GCN-317 pump.

The initiative addresses the urgent need for alternative supply chains for NPP equipment, as original manufacturers are either Russian or under sanctions. The project will enable joint Czech-Ukrainian production of modernized pump systems with enhanced efficiency and reliability.

Total project budget: 2,000,000 CZK from Czech contribution. Implementation period: 2024–2026.
