Ukrainian and Czech Industrial Leaders Meet in Prague: Sumy Cluster Joins TRIUMPH Alliance

On June 16, 2026, a working meeting of Ukrainian and Czech industrial organizations was held at the headquarters of the WITKOWITZ Group in Prague, focused on developing joint projects in energy, critical infrastructure, and industrial modernization of Ukraine.

The meeting took place within the 4th Smart Industry Mission of Ukrainian Stakeholders to the Czech Republic, organized by the Czechinno Agency with support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

The Ukrainian Cluster Alliance delegation included Alexander Yurchak (CEO, UCA) and Vladislav Kondus (CEO, Sumy Cluster of Energy Engineering). The Czech side was represented by leading industrial companies: WITKOWITZ, Sigma Group, ŠKODA JS, Doosan Škoda Power, Witkowitz Atomica and other partners of the TRIUMPH Alliance ecosystem.

Key Outcomes

• Sumy Machine-Building Cluster of Power Equipment officially joined the International TRIUMPH Alliance, signing the relevant accession act during the event.

• Participants discussed the development of the Czech-Ukrainian platform CESTA-SYNERGOATOM, uniting industrial enterprises, universities, and research institutions around projects in nuclear energy, power engineering, and critical infrastructure.

• Special attention was paid to the W-FORTEX International Consortium project for reconstruction, modernization and physical protection of Chernihiv CHP — one of the first practical implementations of the Consortium's mandate.

• The Ukrainian-Czech project MRIA-SMPWR was presented — a national platform for small modular reactors with participation of industrial and scientific partners from both countries.
